Today I’m going to show you the exact system I’ve created to help lose weight, get fit, and be happier. I have compiled the best strategies from 17 years as a personal trainer, my experience on The Biggest Loser TV Show, running Dr. Phil’s Weight Loss Challenge, and preparing for my 34 magazine cover shoots. I then took these strategies and streamlined them into the simplest delivery method on the planet.

But first, I have a confession to make.

Four years ago I was a completely different type of personal trainer. I simply didn’t understand why people didn’t have time to workout and prepare meals. I honestly thought it was just flat out laziness.

But I was dead wrong!

That being said, if you saw me on television you know that I was always super positive. I was never mean to people. But it was really hard for me to understand how life could overwhelm people to the point of gaining hundreds of pounds.

Didn’t they know how much longer they would live and how much better they would feel if they just worked out and ate healthy?

Then about five years ago my life completely changed, I got a little reality check!

Everything I thought I knew about body image and weight management was obliterated.


My husband and I decided to have a baby and I got pregnant pretty fast. My goals of being little miss workout for the nine months were quickly replaced with sleeping a lot, eating what I could keep down, and barely having enough energy to get through the day!

Having Jake, my son, was the most amazing day of my life. I’d heard how magical being a mom was but I had no idea how much I could love someone.

But….. and this is a big BUT! (No pun intended) He turned my life UPSIDE DOWN!

I wanted my pre-baby body back ASAP! I was one of the best personal trainers in America for goodness sake!


There was no time for early morning roller blades on the beach or long workouts. There were no relaxing organic lunches at the trendy California restaurants.

I was officially in Mom-mode.

I was forgetting breakfast.

My workouts consisted of hauling baby seats and diaper bags around.

My sleep patterns were shot.

I never had any motivation to go to the gym.

In summary, I was officially in ‘the real world’.

For the first time ever I understood how hard it was to be a good wife, mom, business owner, and take care of myself at the same time. After having Jake I finally understood why people get out of shape and struggle to get back to their ideal body.

It’s not about laziness.

It’s about three things:

  1. Lack of organization.
  2. Lack of time.
  3. Lack of knowledge.

With these powerful new insights I felt EMPOWERED. I was excited to go back to the drawing board and completely rethink my weight management and personal training philosophies.

After a LOT of new research I realized a very very very important trend, (notice how many times I said very?)

The trend is “quick fix”.

And that is what is sold to desperate people every day. Trust me I get it, I wanted to lose the baby weight in a week!

  1. You must use a strategy with little or no thinking.
  2. It must focus on just one small change per week.
  3. It must work in co-operation with your busy life not “overwhelm it.”
  4. There has to be phenomenal levels of support.
